100k Peso Challenge: How I Spent It All
Is this purchase a dream come true?
Last year, I set myself a challenge: 🎯 save 100,000 pesos. 😎
It wasn't easy, but it was definitely rewarding.🏆 Juggling a video editing side hustle with my regular allowance meant every peso counted. 😵💫 I embraced frugality, becoming a master of budgeting 💰 and finding creative ways to stretch my resources. 💸
Living with my aunt in the city has been a game-changer for me. ✨ Without rent and food expenses, 🤑 I'm saving a significant amount each month. 😎 This generosity allows me to focus on saving, which wouldn't be possible without myaunt and uncle's support and parents of course. (´。• ◡ •。`) ♡
By the year's end,
I had miraculously reached my 100,000 peso savings goal!

While achieving the target felt like a significant milestone, a strange feeling washed over me – a sense of “is this it?”.
Having money instilled a sense of ambition. Now, knowing I have a safety net, losing a peso wouldn't send me into a panic. It fuels my desire to keep pushing and achieving even bigger financial goals.
Okay, so things got real when I finally decided to spend it. I'd been thinking about it for months! Like, months of researching, contemplating, and carefully considering the value or usefulness of my purchase.
January 1, 2024 - woke up bored and did the purchase online...
minutes later from 100k - 0 just like that.
Now I'm Broke.
Hold this How? Hold this
Hitting 100k wasn't just about security; it gave me the confidence to buy something I never thought I could afford. It allowed me to invest in a powerful PC unit. Thanks to my dad's additional contribution, I was able to afford a top-of-the-line machine that's a game-changer! The smooth workflow it provides saves me countless hours, especially when editing high-quality videos.
Now, staying on top of saving feels impossible sometimes.
Treats and stuff keep tempting me, you know? That feeling you still have a lot of money, in reality I'm just spoiling myself ready to get broke again and again.
But hey, my most expensive purchase, this awesome PC, actually helped my hobby and my creative works. Sure, I'm back to zero, but my editing skills are way better now! The PC makes video editing a breeze and lets me make cooler stuff like this blog.
Gotta find a balance, right?
Treat myself sometimes, but also keep saving.
