Unexpected Reunion with Old Friends

Yesterday, I had a chance encounter with Jaren, a long-time high school friend who had disappeared from our lives.

While walking to school, someone tapped my shoulder. I was surprised to see Jaren, who had ghosted us for a while. Although he looked the same, the vibe felt different. Nevertheless, I was grateful for the unexpected reunion. Even behind a facemask and with long hair, he still recognized me and took the time to reconnect.

In the afternoon, I received a video message from Aaron, my friend and hero from Malaysia, in response to my birthday greeting. I was impressed by the effort he put into setting up his camera to send me a message. He reminded me of my video projects and expressed curiosity about a specific video he couldn't find, the one about 'SANA ALL.' His support and interest in my content made me feel valued. I replied with a video message explaining why that video wasn't online and why I’m currently not posting videos.

Aaron is like a big brother to me, even though we rarely connect after our last weekly meet-up at Nas Academy. The supportive energy he brings when we interact is still the same, and I’m really grateful to have met him because he’s such a good person.

These coincidental events reminded me of the good old days, which I will miss, as such moments happen only once in a while.
