Exploring Manila and Newport World Resort
A Journey of Meetings, Surprises, and Luxurious Experiences
As I prepare to go back home, 🏠︎ I had a meeting with Ray and the team, 💻 and then I left Tito's house. I am feeling excited because I have written a lot of articles 📃 and I have gigs for this month 💻 which will keep me busy. ⛔ I'm happy because in the past 10 days I was just spending time and money. 🤑 It was so boring that my impatience accumulated. ( •̀ - •́ )
Before heading to the airport, one of my online friends, Ja, met up with me.
Thanks to her, I entered Starbucks for the first time. We even went to a casino, and the place was incredibly lavish, like a playground for the wealthy. I was surprised to see an ill person on oxygen playing a slot machine; it was quite surreal. Even the counter where players cash out had fancy grills. Ja became my photographer.
Newport World Resort is really meant for wealthy people; even the hallways are fancy. There were no ordinary people roaming around. The environment felt like a different country, with its massive and modern setup. I was amazed by the prices of things sold there, especially the food, which was way more expensive than in BGC.
Ja and I spent our time talking about life in Starbucks. Ja treated me with a Matcha frappe, and we shared a cake together. Both were expensive. Ja was like a mom to me, encouraging me to take photos, and she was so kind with her gentle voice. It was nice to meet her before leaving Manila. My ideal partner to travel with, atleast a mom photographer for the trip !
