A Late Realization
One of my friends told me this afternoon, “I thought you were innocent.”
He shared how, back when we first met, I gave off this innocent vibe. But today, I guess I surprised him — or maybe just showed a different side of myself. The truth is, I’ve always been the same person. I just reveal different layers depending on who I’m with.
It made him realize: you don’t really know someone until you get closer — and sometimes that closeness can shift how you see them entirely. That kind of perspective change is wild to experience.
We were having a pretty raw conversation — about adult topics, leaked videos, and things usually labeled as “guy talk.” I threw in some dark humor too, and I think it caught him off guard. He was a bit hurt by how I spoke, maybe because it was the first time he heard that side of me.
At the same time, I discovered that a lot of people were actually amazed about the things I used to share during the pandemic. Looking back, I was definitely a little “sus,” and yeah, I wish I had done better with it. But life just happens, you know?
I’m still here, still moving forward, still figuring things out. For now, I’ll keep going on this path — and aim for the craziest idea possible.
